My Life Has A Soundtrack

Today I took the day off of words and listened to music. I listened to:

Aimee Mann - I am filled with melancholy

Rufus Wainwright - I think I might be in love with him.

Gordon Lightfoot - I was in love with someone (I fear I may be still) who liked to play Lightfoot while we lay in bed.

Leonard Cohen - I, too, am a beautiful loser

5. 6. 7. 8's - to get me out of the funk caused by the above listening choices

my life has a soundtrack, i read that and it struck a nerve....... no wonder! now i understand why i listen to the music i listen to. its my life, or what i percieve it to be at the moment, in music. no wonder it confuses others when i share, they have no concept of my life! no wonder today "i wanted to stop time with our eyes locked in a longing gaze" and yesterday it was "boom boom mami mami". tomorrow.."at last". who knows, i cant explain it and "its my life". go figure!!
